Senior Python Developer About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Python backend development, designing scalable applications, developing RESTful APIs, and working with relational and NoSQL databases. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services. • Work with Django and Django REST Framework. • Design and optimize database queries and data models. • Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases. • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards. • Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and other technical teams. • Design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions. • Improve application performance, reliability, and security. • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers when required. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. • 5–10 years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in Python. • Strong proficiency in Python. • Strong experience with Django and Django REST Framework. • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture. • Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns. • Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows. • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, clean code, and testing. • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with FastAPI or Flask. • Experience with Redis and Celery. • Experience with Elasticsearch / ELK Stack. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with Linux. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. • Experience developing high-performance and distributed systems. • Experience in cybersecurity or network security products is a plus.
